YOU WILL NEED
-Felt
-DMC Thread
-Friction pen
-Scissors for fabric and paper
-Sewing needle
-Large eye sewing needle
-Pins
-Printer
-2 sheets of A4 card
-Natural crochet string
It is always optimal to have some experience with sewing and or working with embroidery thread, however the instructions include a Stitching Library which carefully and clearly illustrates how each stitch needed for this project is done so any one can learn.
Whilst finished embroidery pieces can look overwhelming, it is important to keep in mind that hand embroidery is a slow creative journey. I am an advocate for creativity and always encourage my makers to let go of the notion of perfectionism. No one stitch need be perfect; the overall look of the work will speak volumes.
